For Families:

Helps families understand their child’s special-education plan in simple, clear language. It shows goals, accommodations, and services from their IEP or 504 plan, highlights their child’s strengths and needs, and explains their rights. Families can see this information in their preferred language, give feedback to update the child’s profile, join community spaces with other parents and teachers, and use a WhatsApp chatbot to ask questions like “What’s a 504 plan?”
Families can meet other parents and experts through community forums, and find local advocacy and nonprofit organizations.

For Teachers:

Teachers create IEP, language, and learning-aligned student profiles. By selecting one or a class of these data-rich profiles, teachers can better modify lessons, worksheets, plans, or pacing of curricula, all to provide students with what they actually need to be successful in the classroom.

IEP writing is complex and rarely do the right professional development opportunities exist that support those working in this intersectional space. For Students:

The strongest lesson modifications take into account the learner’s voice, yet teachers often don’t have the capacity to implement feedback before the next lesson. Rich student feedback loops ensure lessons and plans are improving and growing with the student. Students can also suggest improvements to their Student Profile.
Students deserve to know what their accommodations, rights, goals, and related services are in simple language they can understand.

For Administrators:

Administrators need support with compliance tracking, the needs and accommodations of students (especially when it comes to assessments, class planning, and RTI), and teacher/provider support in reaching the highest need learners.
